How do I choose the right drysuit model?

Consider your primary diving activities. The Hydroman is a versatile all-rounder for technical and recreational cold-water diving. The Medusa offers maximum mobility for cave and sidemount divers. For professional use in harsh environments, the Stone (full Kevlar), Kryptonite (proprietary cut-resistant), or Ninja (dual-zone reinforcement) provide increasing levels of protection. What's the difference between Standard, Performance, and Professional?

Standard (Hydroman) uses proven Fothergill 360g trilaminate with Cordura 1000 reinforcements — excellent durability for most divers. Performance (Medusa) adds raglan sleeves and dual-weight trilaminate for enhanced mobility. Professional (Stone, Kryptonite, Ninja) introduces Kevlar, proprietary cut-resistant fabrics, and ceramic composites for divers in the most demanding environments.

Are all suits custom tailored?

Yes. Every Ugly Fish drysuit is built from scratch to your exact body measurements. There are no standard sizes or templates. We provide a detailed measurement guide and can assist you remotely or in person at our Hurghada location.

Can I upgrade my suit after purchase?

Some upgrades like seal replacements, P-valve installation, and Kevlar reinforcement patches can be added after purchase at our service center. However, upgrades like bronze zippers, QCS ring systems, and custom stitching are best specified at the time of order as they require factory integration during manufacturing.
