About Sealachi

The gear behind the dive

Sealachi is the exclusive distributor for Ugly Fish custom drysuits in Egypt, connecting divers across the Middle East, Turkey, Australia, and Sweden with handmade Italian drysuits built to their exact body measurements.

Based in Hurghada and operating under Lazuli Global, we handle ordering, measurement guidance, and after-sales support including a full drysuit service centre for all brands.

Our Story

How Sealachi came about

Getting a proper custom drysuit in Egypt, the Middle East, and beyond used to mean navigating international orders on your own, guessing at measurements, and hoping for the best. We started Sealachi to fix that.

We chose Ugly Fish because they build suits the way we think suits should be built: one at a time, by hand, in Italy. Fothergill trilaminate, Cordura 1000, Masterseal zippers, proprietary fabrics like Kryptonite. No mass production, no shortcuts. Just materials that hold up and craftsmanship you can see in every seam.

Sealachi operates under Lazuli Global, which gives us the logistics backbone and business infrastructure to deliver reliably. We combine local knowledge with global standards to serve divers across the region.

Drysuit design and manufacturing process

Our Values

What we stand behind

01

Quality Over Quantity

We stock what we would dive in ourselves. If a product doesn't earn its place through construction quality, material choice, and real-world performance, we don't carry it. Simple as that.

02

Expert Guidance

Buying a drysuit is not like picking a wetsuit off the rack. We walk you through model selection, material trade-offs, and the measurement process so you end up with a suit that actually fits the diving you do.

03

Custom Fit

Every Ugly Fish suit is built from scratch to your body measurements. No standard sizing, no adjustments from a template. Proper fit matters for trim, comfort, and keeping water where it belongs.

04

Reseller Support

We work with dive shops and instructors who want to offer premium drysuits to their clients. You get reseller pricing, product training, and marketing support. Our goal is to build partners who know the gear inside out.

Material Technology

The materials inside

Ugly Fish works with Fothergill trilaminate fabrics and a range of reinforcement materials. Each one does a different job.

Fothergill 360g Trilaminate

360g/m²

The backbone of the Ugly Fish range. Three layers: nylon outer, butyl rubber membrane, nylon inner. They keep water out and hold up dive after dive. Proven across thousands of suits worldwide.

Hydroman Kryptonite Ninja

Fothergill 500g Trilaminate

500g/m²

Heavier trilaminate built to take hits on the upper limbs: elbows, forearms, and shoulders. This is the tougher half of the Medusa's dual-trilaminate zone construction.

Medusa

Fothergill 400g Trilaminate

400g/m²

Lighter trilaminate that sits across the torso, where you need flex and freedom of movement more than armour. The other half of the Medusa's dual-trilaminate zone system.

Medusa

Cordura 1000 Denier

1000-denier nylon that shrugs off rock scrapes, line abrasion, and general hard use. Applied to the zones that take the most punishment: knees, seat, groin, chest, and arms. Holds its shape season after season.

Hydroman Medusa

Kevlar / Aramid Polymers

600g/m² (Stone)

Aramid fibre, the same family of materials used in body armour. Extremely tough, cut-resistant, and heat-resistant. Used as reinforcement panels or as full suit construction material in the Stone, where it forms a shell that takes serious abuse without complaint. A cold-water favourite for wreck and cave divers. The Ninja's Kevlar/Silicone hybrid offers a versatile alternative across all environments.

Stone Ninja (lower section)

Kryptonite

Ugly Fish's own cut-resistant reinforcement fabric. It stops blade nicks, cable abrasion, and the kind of wear that shreds lesser materials in wrecks and caves. Proprietary weave, built in-house. Performs well across diving conditions. The Ninja builds on this platform as the premium all-environment choice.

Kryptonite

Ceramic/Cordura

Cordura with ceramic particles woven into the fibre. The ceramic hardens the surface against fine abrasion, the kind of micro-damage you pick up brushing past silty overheads. Used on the upper body sections of the Ninja.

Ninja (upper section)

Components & Systems

Hardware and systems

Seal Systems

Latex Seals

Classic latex wrist and neck seals. They seal tight, dry fast, and are simple to replace yourself if one tears on a dive trip.

Neoprene Seals

Smooth-skin neoprene wrist and neck seals. Softer on the skin than latex, longer-lasting, and they still seal well. A popular choice among cold-water divers who want comfort without compromise.

Silicone Seals

Silicone wrist and neck seals. They outlast latex by a wide margin, feel gentler on the skin, and won't trigger allergies. Also available in custom colours. Available as an upgrade on any suit.

QCS Quick-Change System

Quick-change ring system for wrist seals. Pop a torn seal off, click a fresh one in. No tools, no glue, done in seconds. Works with latex, neoprene, or silicone rings. Available as an upgrade.

Zipper Systems

Masterseal Waterproof Zipper

The main waterproof closure on every suit. Masterseal zippers are the industry standard, used by professional drysuit makers worldwide because they simply work, dive after dive.

Protective External Zipper

A second zipper on the outside that shields the Masterseal from grit, UV, and physical knocks. Simple addition, but it adds years to the life of your waterproof closure.

Bronze Zipper Upgrade

Bronze teeth instead of polymer. Runs smoother, resists salt corrosion better, and handles years of heavy use. Worth the upgrade if you dive saltwater regularly.

Aquasure Sealing

Every zipper-to-fabric junction is sealed with Aquasure polyurethane sealant. It stays flexible, bonds permanently, and adds a second line of defence against leaks.

Valve Systems

Inflator Valve

Chest-mounted inflator that connects to any standard LP hose. Press the button, add air, control your buoyancy. Simple and reliable.

Exhaust Valve

Auto-dump valve on the left upper arm. Twist the knob to set the venting rate: tighter for slower dumps on deco stops, looser for quick ascent control. Adjustable to suit your style.

P-Valve Installation

Relief valve fitted during suit construction so the connection is watertight from day one. Choose between Heser (with quick-disconnect) or Sitech systems.

Boot Systems

Integrated Boots

Hard-sole boots built right into the suit. Reinforced soles handle rocky shore entries and boat decks without needing separate footwear.

Neoprene Socks

Thin neoprene socks built into the suit legs. Slimmer profile underwater and cleaner trim. Rock boots available separately for shore entries.
